Hug Point, Oregon Coast

The Oregon Coast always provides a wonderful source of painting inspiration. The idea for this painting came about one rainy November morning when I was at Hug Point, one of the many state parks along the coast.  As the rain let up, the sunlight brought out the many colors of the rugged headlands.

Patty,
I just love your work!!!! You have become a very talented, insightful artist. Do you ever sell any of your work? I would love to purchase one of your paintings.
I just recently retired from Western Wayne SD after teaching elementary Art for 20 years. It is so rewarding to see a former "Wildcat" succeeding in so many ways.

I especially like your painting "Hug Point", as my step-daughter recently moved to Brookings, OR and has been posting some amazing photos of the surrounding area.
I look forward to hearing from you - and, keep painting!
